Important Notice!!

Due to volunteer and foster attrition, ArfNets is closing its doors after 8-years.

ARFNets was formed in Maryville, Tennessee in early 2004 by a group of local citizens with a devotion to rescuing the abandoned and abused pet population as their commonality. ArfNets was founded in 2004, and became a 501(c)3 non-profit rescue this same year.

ArfNets has saved approximately 1,265 animals since becoming a non-profit rescue in 2004. While our fosters mostly have cats, kittens, dogs and puppies we have also saved rabbits, ferrets and miniature horses.

Please consider helping another rescue in East Tennessee! There are so many animals,
that need so much, and so few to help them.

Our site will stay up during the upcoming year 2013 until we feel our community is well informed of our closing. As of December 31, 2012, all of our animals will stay with their fosters, unless adopted. Thank you for your support throughout the years.

ARFNets has helped place into loving homes, well over 1,000 animals.

If you need to contact ARFNets, please do so by email: We will continue to monitor this email address until later in the year in 2013.
